The ingredients needed to make Curd rice and potato fries:
  1. Prepare 1 bowl Rice(leftover rice can also be used)
  2. Get 1 bowl Curd
  3. Make ready 1/2 bowl milk

  6. Make ready Tempering
  7. Make ready 2 tsp Oil
  8. Get leaves Curry
  9. Prepare 1 tsp mustard seeds,hing,urad daal,chana daal,hing,dried red chil
  10. Prepare as required Roasted peanuts
  11. Get Aloo fry
  12. Prepare 2 Potato large size
  13. Get as required Salt,haldi and mirchi powder
  14. Prepare As required Oil for frying

For example, this fried rice contains more goodies than your average egg fried rice. It is loaded with bacon, potato, ham, and green peas, making the dish into a full meal. Not only is it easy to make, but you can also cook it ahead of time and store it in the fridge. Pink beetroot rice with potato fry in her lunch box.

Instructions to make Curd rice and potato fries:
  1. Pressure cook the rice, for curd rice the rice has to be soft so add extra water to keep it soft and moist.(if you are using leftover rice you once have to grind the rice with milk for a second to make it soft and smooth)
  2. Once rice is done and it's cool down add milk and stir it nicely,then add curd to it and whisk it so that all the ingredients mix and give a good consistency.lastly add salt to it and it's done
  3. Final step is tempering,take a pan add oil followed by hing,mustard seeds,curry leaves,red chilli,both the daals and let it dance over the rice.
  4. Top it up with peanut and coriander leaves and serve.
  5. For potato fries simply peel and cut it,after cutting let it dry.then add salt,haldi and mirchi powder.
  6. Put a kadai add oil for frying once the oil is done put the sliced potato and deep fry it.

Not only is it easy to make, but you can also cook it ahead of time and store it in the fridge. Pink beetroot rice with potato fry in her lunch box. Maha had little cold so I put some oranges in her snacks box. Add it to curd rice and mix well. Now attractive curd rice is done.
