  1. Make ready 2 big onion,2 cup kebab flour/besan/chick flour(all are same)
  2. Prepare 1 tbsp red chilli pwd, 1tsp ajwain(caraway seeds good for tummy)
  3. Prepare 1 tsp haldi(turmeric pwd)
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp salt, small bunch of coriander leaves

Onion pakoda are basically onion fritters made with gram flour (besan). You can even make these with chickpea flour. Onion Pakoda are a popular Indian street food as well. I only use red onions for my picked onions, but yellow or white onions can be used as well.

Steps to make Quick onion fritters:
  1. First slice onions on it put red chilli pwd,turmeric,salt,ajwain (caraway)coriander leaves n 1 cup flour n mix well till u get sticky batter(pic2)now mix the remaining flour n mix well n fry.serve with sauce, chutney enjoy😊(good in Ramadan as its quick to make)

Onion Pakoda are a popular Indian street food as well. I only use red onions for my picked onions, but yellow or white onions can be used as well. Of course you won't get that lovely bright-pink color, but if that's not a factor, then give it a try. When the oil is ready, put the onions in the batter and mix - this is always best done just before cooking. Use all the batter this way.
