  7. Prepare 1/4 tsp red chilli powder

Steps to make Chana Dal Fry:
  1. Wash dal in running water and Soak dal in water for 10 minutes.
  2. Now put it in a pressure cooker with 2 glass of water and salt and turmeric powder and pressure cook till 7-8 minutes after first whistle. Let pressure releases automatically.
  3. Heat butter in tadka pan. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add red chilli powder and garam masala.
  4. Mix this tadka in dal pan and cook on low flame for 2 minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
  5. Serve hot with rice and salad.
