  1. Make ready 250 g flour
  2. Get 250 g sugar
  3. Make ready 100 ml butter

  8. Get pineapple rings (from can) or any other fruit
  9. Prepare chocolate (optional)

  2. Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks and put them in separate bowls
  3. Add sugar to the egg yolks and using a mixer, mix until they become a paste
  4. Add both the butter and the milk in the egg yopk mixture and mix until combined
  5. Mix baking powder, salt and flower and gradually add to the egg yolk mixture until well combine
  6. Set aside
  7. Add vanilla extract to the egg whites and whisk them until stiff
  8. Add the egg whites to the first mixture and combine them using a spoon, gentle, so it maintains its "fluff"
  9. Pour the mixture and add the fruit on top
  10. Put it in the oven for 30-40 min or until it passes the toothpick test
  11. Optional: melt chocolate and put some on top of the finished cake
  12. Enjoy!!
