  1. Fry your onions till brown, add garlic and cook for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and cook till soft, add the pilau mix and cook for another 3 minutes.
  2. Add potatoes, cook for 5 to 8 minutes while stirring to avoid sticking on the Sufuria. Then add 3glasses of water to cook the potatoes for 10minutes while covered and in medium heat.
  3. Add your rice. Stir, add the remaining 2glasses of boiled water, cover and cook in a low heat.
  4. Remove the lid. Take a newspaper or the brown paper used to wrap maize or wheat flour, dip in water, place on the Sufuria, put the lid back, take some hot charcoal and place on the lid spreading harmoniously. Give it 10 to 20 minutes. Your food is now ready to serve. Remember to always include a Vegetable of your like in your rice meal. I served with Sukuma Wiki (Kales) vegetable with my Mchikicho sauce.
