  1. Take 2 cups brown lentils
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup rice

  1. Fry onion slices in oil, over medium fire for 5 mins.
  2. Boil the lentils (+salt) around ½ hour in generous water. Grind in blender to get a puree.
  3. Add onion to the (lentils puree), with ½ cup water.Put on medium fire, once it starts boiling, add rice and cumin.
  4. Boil for another 10-20 mins until it becomes a well combined.
  5. Pour in serving dish, can be eaten cold or hot.
