Dal fry is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It is simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It’s appreciated by millions daily. They are nice and they look fantastic. Dal fry is something which I have loved my whole life.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook dal fry using 8 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Dal fry:
  1. Get 1 cup tur dal
  2. Take as required garlic, green chillies, coriander,
  3. Take 1 tomato, onion
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp Jeera,
  5. Get 2 dry red chillies,
  6. Prepare as per taste salt,
  7. Get 1 lime
  8. Make ready as needed haldi powder, dhania powder
Steps to make Dal fry:
  1. Pressure cook one cup tur dal. Take at least 4 whistles
  2. Take a kadai and heat it. To it add ghee after it gets heated add zeera.
  3. After zeera splutters to it add some crushed garlic, green chillies and few coriander leaves and saute nice for 2 minutes. Do not burn
  4. To this add onion, tomato, and stir again for 5 more minutes till tomato gets mushy. Then add dal, and salt to taste.
  5. Let it boil nicely and stir it time to time. Squeeze a lemon. And check fr taste.
  6. Then take ghee in a tadka vessel and give tadka of broken 2 dry red chillies.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
