The ingredients needed to make Goat liver fry:
  1. Make ready 2 tbsp Oil -
  2. Prepare 1 tsp Fennel seeds -
  3. Prepare 1/4 tsp Ginger garlic paste -
  4. Get Onion - 1 no
  5. Get 1/2 Lb Goat liver -
  6. Make ready Curry leaves - 1 string
  7. Get 1 tsp Turmeric powder -
  8. Get 1 tsp Chilli powder -
  9. Get 1/2 tsp Cumin powder -
  10. Prepare 1 tsp Garam masala powder -
  11. Take Salt - 2 tsp (as required)
  12. Make ready Coriander leaves - 3 string

Calf or chicken livers work best. Fry until onion is brown and soft. Next goes in the marinated liver. Keep stirring until water comes from liver.

Instructions to make Goat liver fry:
  1. In a pan add oil, fennel seeds, curry leaves finely chopped garlic and roast it well. Add Ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell vanishes.
  2. Now add finely chopped onions and fry till the onions turn golden brown and add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and cumin powder and roast well.
  3. Once the mixture releases oil add the goat liver to it and mix well.
  4. Cover and cook for 5 minutes and the goat liver is done. Add coriander leaves for garnishing.
  5. Enjoy with hot steamed rice.

Next goes in the marinated liver. Keep stirring until water comes from liver. I don't know about you but I simple love goat liver aka "mete" in Bengali. Chicken liver – not so much but Goat liver – yum! My daughters freak out at the very idea that I am eating innards of an animal.
