The ingredients needed to make Spanish Rice:
  1. Make ready 2 cups Jazmin rice
  2. Take 1 roma tomatoes chopped
  3. Make ready 1 Green Bell Pepper Diced
  4. Prepare 1/4 yellow onion diced
  5. Make ready 1 cube tomato boulion
  6. Prepare 1 tsp ground cumin
  7. Get 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  8. Make ready 4 cups water
  9. Prepare Pinch salt
  10. Take Pinch pepper
  11. Get 2 tbsp canola oil
Steps to make Spanish Rice:
  1. Pour 2 cups rice in a medium pot. Season with salt, pepper, and ground cummin.
  2. Add conola oil, bring the pot to high heat and saute rice until brown. About 3 minutes adding your diced onions and peppers after 2.
  3. After 3 minutes add your Tomatoes and cubed boulion. Sturr for 2 more minutes.
  4. After 2 more minutes of sturring add your tomato sauce, water and green onions.
  5. When water comes to a boil, bring heat to medium and let rice cook for 15 minutes covered.
  6. After 15 minutes, turn heat off and let the pot sit for another 5 minutes covered.
  7. After 5 minutes, remove cover and let rice sit for 3 more minutes. Then serve.
